Internship Description: Are you a creative and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in glass art? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team as a Glass Kiln Casting Intern. During your internship with us, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of glass casting and gain hands-on experience in a professional studio environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentorship: Work closely with our skilled glass artists and craftsmen to learn the art of Kiln Casting.

  • Hands-on Experience: Participate in the entire Kiln Casting process, including creating moulds, preparing glass, firing kilns, and finishing artworks.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with our team on exciting projects, contributing your creativity and energy to the creation of unique glass artworks.

  • Learning Opportunity: Attend workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions to expand your knowledge of glass casting techniques.

  • Studio Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized studio, ensuring the safe and efficient use of equipment and materials.

  • Portfolio Development: Create your own glass art pieces under the guidance of experienced artists.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for art and a strong interest in glass casting.

  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a creative mindset.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
