Scholarship Recipient: Pratibha Mistry

Pratibha Mistry's glass art is informed and inspired by her background as a cellular biologist.

"I’m fascinated by the contours of human organs and the intricate cellular structures and their workings. This generous scholarship was an unforgettable opportunity allowing me to create new curious lenses, a double vessel prototype and to play with the compatibility of glass to create fracturing effects. This exploration was informative, fun and inspiring. It was also a great networking opportunity spurring ideas for future collaboration and a new body of work.
