Cold Work Technician Post Available
The Glass Foundry is looking for an in house sessional Cold Work Technician.
Successful applicants will receive a 6 week full-time placement at the Foundry.
This will involve helping to finish artist's glass works - from demoulding, flatbed grinding to air tool shaping and polishing.
This post will suit -
- recent glass graduates
- makers experienced in finishing sculptural artworks to a high standard
- technicians in other fields who have experience working with shaping tool
We are particularly interested in receiving applications from people who are under-represented in the glass making field.
Deadline for applications Thursday 25th November. Interviews 29th November.
